The Cattle Market development (Arc)

Arc will be the new name for what is being built upon the old Cattle Market site in Bury St Edmunds. It is located on 5.4 hectares of brown field site in the centre of town, which until recently was a car park. The development is includes 36 shops (most notably a Debenhams department store), with 65 residential apartments above, a Public Venue building (multi purpose venue) and underground car parking. It is set to open in Spring 2009, and the total value of the project is in the region of £105 million.
